Communities Served
The primary beneficiaries of the Foundation’s work are the people served through Lakeview Health System and its related partners. Through the Foundation’s successful efforts, Lakeview Health System’s capability to impact the health and wellness of these people will be great enhanced.
Foundation Grant Recipients
The initiatives and projects that the Foundation funds, either partially or fully, must be aligned with the mission of the Lakeview Health System and have well-defined goals that are clearly related to the health and wellness of the Foundation’s targeted communities.
Donors and Contributors
Donors and contributors are the lifeblood of the Foundation. They enable the Foundation to achieve its mission and realize its vision. All donors and contributors who support the mission of the Foundation and the mission of Lakeview Health System are welcomed. The Foundation pledges to provide donors with timely communications, accuracy in accounting, and thoughtful discernment in allocation of funds.
Lakeview Health System
The Foundation affirms and supports the vision and mission of Lakeview Health System. It is subordinate to the System. The Foundation is committed to being the eyes that see and the ears that hear the health and wellness needs of the community. The Foundation is also committed to giving voice to those needs within the community and communicating them to the System.
Clinic and Hospital Staff
Lakeview Health System’s hospital and clinics are its direct providers of health and wellness services to the community. Through their medical staff, expert medical services are provided, and through the support staff, the smooth functioning of the clinics and hospital is assured. The Foundation is committed to listening to the medical and support staff’s innovative ideas about the health and wellness of their patients and the community.
Other Foundations
Lakeview Foundation views other foundations – private, community or corporate – as possible partners in undertaking joint initiatives or projects. Often by joining forces, resources can be more effectively utilized, funding more wisely allocated and the community better served. Lakeview Foundation pledges to work cooperatively with other foundations to enhance the health and wellness of the community.
Other Partners
In its efforts to enhance the health and wellness of the community at large, the Foundation looks to partner with other vital parts of the community – service organizations, the business community, schools and colleges, and faith communities. Creating strong partnerships within the community unites the community and facilitates its thriving.
Foundation Board, Staff and Volunteers
The Board leads the Foundation by maintaining its alignment with Lakeview Health System, setting goals, seeking funds and granting proposals in light of its mission. The Board, the Foundation’s staff and volunteers are the driving force of the Foundation. As a dynamic team, they work to achieve the Foundation’s goals, accomplish its mission, and realize its vision. They look for creative initiatives for the Foundation, and they are innovative in fund development. The Board recognizes and appreciates the staff and volunteers for their dedication, hard work and generous sharing of their time and talents.
